Product Review: The Apologetics Study Bible

I received the Apologetics Study Bible a few weeks ago and have already been impressed by it the times I have used it for my personal Bible study time. It is saturated with practical and thought-provoking material from over ninety leading apologists including Lee Strobel (author of The Case for Christ), Josh McDowell (author of More Than A Carpenter), and Ravi Zacharias (author of Jesus Among Other Gods), among many others I am not yet familiar with.

Features in this study Bible include:
- Introduction for each book of the Bible with info on the author and the reliability of the book
- "Twisted Scripture"  explanations of commonly misunderstood or misused passages
- Articles from the apologists on various themes (such as Is the Old Testament Trustworthy, Does the Bible Demean Woman, The Trinity, How Can Jesus' Death Bring Forgiveness)
- 8 colored maps at the back of the Bible

This Bible uses the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translation, which I was not familiar with but have found it to be very readable. It is said to be a reliable translation that stays as literal as possible to the Bible's original meaning without sacrificing clarity.

I have been using it to dive deeper into 2 Corinthians and found the introduction page to be especially helpful so far. The study notes have also been useful for me to better understand the text. I use several different Bibles for my studies and this one will definitely be a go-to from now on!
